Arthur Gribetz, Chief Executive Officer
Arthur Gribetz served for 20 years in the Israeli Ministry of Defense, in charge of research and technical projects. He holds a Ph.D. in Arabic Language and Literature from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. In addition, in 1982 Arthur founded and is currently the chief instructor of Tora Dojo Martial Arts Association, Israel.
Anatoly Chekhmir, Chief Technical Officer
Anatoly Chekhmir is a physical-chemist. Before joining GSI, he was an experimental geochemist in the Department of Earth Sciences in the Hebrew University of Jerusalem for 7 years. Prior to that, Anatoly was at the Russian Academy of Sciences at Chernogolovka in Moscow for 19 years. Anatoly specializes in experimental geochemistry and petrology. He holds a Ph.D. in geochemistry from the Vernadski Institute of Geochemistry and Analytical Chemistry in Moscow. He has published extensively and is internationally regarded as an expert in his field.
Rami Aharoni, Business Development
Rami Aharoni holds a B.A. and an M.A. in engineering science from Oxford University, England and an M.Sc. and Ph.D. in engineering science from Tel-Aviv University in Israel. Rami has over 25 years of industrial and business experience, and was a co-founder of three successful high-tech startup companies, all still in operation today.
Isaac Lapides, Scientist
Isaac Lapides is a Professor Emeritus of inorganic and analytical chemistry at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He holds the degree of Doctor of Chemical Science (Physical Chemistry) from the Academy of Sciences, USSR. Isaac specializes in the mineralogy of granitoid and metamorphic rock and worked from 1966 to 1991 as a leading research scientist at the Institute of Geochemistry, Academy of Sciences USSR, at Irkutsk.
Harry Babad is an organic chemist who has expertise in waste management assessments and risk evaluation for radioactive waste storage and disposal. He worked for 23 years at the Atlantic Richfield Hanford Company, the Rockwell Hanford Company, and the Westinghouse Hanford Company, holding key scientific and managerial positions. Since 1997, Harry has consulted for Hanford and the DOE.

Bjorn Mysen is the Head of the geophysical laboratory at the Carnegie Institute of Washington. He specializes in the structure and properties of silicate melts.
Oded Navon is the Head of the Department of Geology at the Hebrew Universtiy of Jerusalem. He specializes in volcanology, mineralogy and ingenuous rocks.
Bruce Watson is the Head of the Department of Geology at the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, New York. He is a mineralogist and a geologist, specializing in the field of magmatic melts.
Eugene Vapnik is a doctor of geology in the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev. He specializes in the inclusion in magmatic rock. He assists in chemical and fluorescence analysis of natural samples.
All of the above scientists have published extensively and are internationally regarded as experts in their field.
